(Las Vegas, NV) -- One of the two girls who got stuck 900-feet above the Las Vegas Strip on the Stratosphere's "Insanity" ride last Wednesday says she may file a lawsuit against the Hotel. Nineteen-year-old Erica McKinnon met with an attorney Monday and says she may be file suit for the terrifying incident she and her eleven year old cousin say they experienced. The ride was interrupted when high winds kicked in. The two girls were on the ride in mid cycle when it got stuck. Engineers inspected the ride and concluded it did not malfunction, so the ride was reopened on Friday. But McKinnon tells KLAS-TV she is certain something went terribly wrong. "We were hanging over for an hour and a half and nobody saw the faces of those guys that were trying to help us, but us two. They looked pretty clueless from my point of view." McKinnon says the people trying to bring them back to safety were shaking their heads not knowing how to retrieve them. The strong winds forced operators to manually pull the arm of the ride back to safety. Attorneys for McKinnon says if the "Insanity" ride worked according to plan, then the Stratosphere needs a new plan. Hotel management says they will wait to comment until a lawsuit is filed."
